Social Media & Marketing: icuTalks
icuTalks is an inclusive mental health non-profit dedicated to ending the stigma around mental health. Based in Charlotte, NC, they host speaking events and fundraisers to provide mental health resources for members of local communities and beyond.
I started as an assistant/junior graphic designer and social media content creator in 2022. Since January of 2026, I have taken over as their Marketing & Content Manager, managing their social media, print and digital marketing, pitch decks for new initiatives, their newsletter, and have assisted in their event planning.
icuTalks aims to end the stigma around mental health, through conversation, storytelling, and community. But mental health conversations don’t happen in a vacuum, they happen in comment sections, shared posts, and late-night scrolling.
My goal has been to find the balance between education and connection. Through a mix of short-form videos, static designs, and carousel posts, I aim to translate complex mental health topics into content that feels relevant, digestible, and worth engaging with.

Merchandise with Meaning:
A Revenue & Awareness Initiative
A mission-driven merchandise line designed to do more than just sell, it starts conversations. Each piece is intentionally created to spark dialogue, reduce stigma around mental health, and extend the reach of icuTalks beyond traditional platforms. In addition to generating a sustainable stream of revenue, the collection acts as organic, everyday marketing, turning supporters into advocates while directly contributing to mental health resources and services.
